During the Coronavirus lockdown and consequent physical library closures, we have been automatically renewing items which you have on loan.
However, as the RDH & QHB libraries have now re-opened*, the automatic renewals service is now stopping.
This will mean that from today, (Tuesday 4th August 2020), you will need to contact the Library to renew any items you have on loan.
Please can you check when your loans are due back and contact the Library if you wish to renew them. Alternatively, you can return your items during staffed opening hours.
Our current staffed hours are:
RDH library: 9am – 5pm (Mon-Fri)
QHB library: 8.30am - 4.30pm (Mon-Thu), 8.30am - 4.00pm (Fri).
At present, no out of hours access is available at either site.
If you need to return your library loans out of staffed hours, you can do so in the following ways:
At RDH: Return them in our book bin, which is in the corridor leading to the main entrance, near the main double lifts/vending machines on level 1. This book bin is available 24/7 and is emptied regularly.
At QHB: No book bin is available out of hours. If you are unable to visit the library during staffed hours, items can be returned via internal post.
