Health Information Week 2017: Books on Prescription
Health Information Week is coming to an end, and the idea behind the event is to promote health literacy to ensure that people have the skills, knowledge and support they need to understand and act on health information and access services.
Reading Well Books on Prescription – can help patients to understand and manage their health and wellbeing using self-help reading. There is evidence from the National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE) that self-help reading can help people with common mental health conditions, such as anxiety and depression.
