Orda - Research Repository
ORDA stands for the Online Research Data Archive, and is a site where you can find all of the research papers and articles created by staff of the UHDB Trust, Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
All of the articles that you can access on there are open access, so you won't need a login, and the site is free to join.
If you are a researcher, it is an ideal place to store and showcase your work, and make it more easily searchable and accessible. You can also set up your own researcher profile.

How to use ORDA
Browsing the archive
From the homepage, navigation around the site is quite straightforward. There are many ways to search the site and filters run down the right hand side of the page. From here you can look at papers by author, subject or date published, or you can choose to browse the whole site. You don't have to login to browse the site or view papers, but you will need to be logged in to access your own profile.
You can also select a "community" to browse, for example, if you only wanted to look at research of the UHDB Trust. There are also "sub-communities" which are the different departments and clinical areas that the papers are based on.
By clicking on the title of the paper, this will take you to the next screen which will give you information about the paper, the option to view the full record and also where possible, a link to open the article. Where the article isn't accessible, you may be able to view just the abstract.
Creating a profile
You can register as a new user by clicking "register" on the left hand side of the page, or by clicking "login" in the top right hand corner. Registering will allow you to submit new items to Orda, subscribe to collections and to receive email updates. You register using your e-mail address which will then be your username. After entering your e-mail address, you will be sent a verification link. On clicking the link, you will be returned to the Orda website to fill in some more details and select a password.
Once registered and logged in, under the "My Account" section on the left hand side, there is now a "profile" option. From here you can edit your details, change your password, select your subscriptions and upload items.
